I've created this blog to keep in touch with my family and friends while I'm spending a year teaching in South Korea. As you know, I have already signed my contract with Pagoda Jr. Academy and there's no turning back now...
While visiting my aunt Michelle she put me in contact with a Korean woman named Chong. Today I went to a Korean bible study at Pineda Presbyterian Church in Melbourne, FL. I wasn't so much interested in attending for any Christian-oriented purpose, but instead I went to begin immersing myself in Korean culture. At the end of the meeting I had two Korean woman asking me for my phone number/email in an attempt to set me up with their daughters...I have this weird hunch that I won't have a problem making friends in Korea.
I tentatively plan on leaving around the month of August.
